We all order things from Amazon, right? Well, what if you could support one of your favorite 501(c)(3) non-profit theatre companies with every purchase? Turns out, you can! You just go through Amazon Smile.

Now, we know half a percent doesn’t sound like a lot. It’s not. Theatre Unleashed literally get a nickel for every $10 you spend. That’s nothing. But some of us shop on Amazon at least two to three times per month and that average bill is anywhere from $10 to $100 every order. That average jumps up even more when you get to the holidays.

So those nickel orders can add up pretty quickly to… what, maybe five or ten dollars a year in contributions? that’s not too bad, when you consider it’s from just from one person, and at no additional cost to the donor.

Again, that doesn’t sound like much. But when you get ten people doing this, $5 becomes $50. A hundred people and $5 becomes $500. A thousand people and $5 a year becomes $5,000.

You know what an additional $5,000 per year can do for us? That’s enough to cover all of our annual administrative overhead, AND gives us enough money to offer stipends for box office managers and stage managers for our entire main stage season.
