Hey there! Welcome to the new TheatreUnleashed.org! Nice to see you. It’s been a while. You look great. Have you lost weight?
So yeah! Check out the new digs. A whole brand-new website, and it’s all ours.
Greg‘s been working on this thing for a few months and now that it’s live, maybe he can finally get some slee- DON’T TOUCH THAT.
Ahem. Sorry. It’s just that, well, the “paint’s still wet” in a few places. Know what I mean? We still have a few things that are under construction.
As time goes on, you’ll see a few changes. Like we’re still finishing styling the site for tablets and mobile devices. That’s a top priority and will be the first major roll-out now that we’re up and running. We’ve also already found a couple bugs we’re working on fixing (yes, we know that when you look at acting and production credits on member profiles, they’re showing up out-of-order). And we’re going to roll out push notifications soon, so you never miss an update!
But that’s all coming soon. Let’s talk real fast about what this new site already can do, and what it’s supposed to be. Greg’s always wanted the company website to be a digital scrapbook, giving us a digital repository for all of our memories of productions and members past, present and future. With that in mind, as of right now we have most of the 2018 season imported, and we’re working on assembling and uploading profiles for all 100+ of our previous productions from our illustrious 11-year history. We also have more than half of the current ensemble set up with artist profiles, and we’re working with the rest of the members to get them online.
More than that, though, we’ve created a platform where members can share their major career news on our company blog, where patrons can leave reviews of our shows directly on the production pages, and where you can buy tickets and make donations through Artful.ly, our Patron Management System, directly on our site without ever having to leave!
We’re really excited about this new setup, and we hope you will be, too. So click around and enjoy! And if you find a bug or have any questions, leave a comment on this post or drop us an e-mail.
Onward and upward.
