Cesar Abella studied at UCLA and The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. A San Francisco native, his work has been performed in Los Angeles, New York and London. For Theatre Unleashed, he has co-written Camp Ragnarok, and written the award-winning Sleeping Around, Get Rid of That Girl, Love for Beginners and White Satin. Clean Lines. Elsewhere, he has written The Waltz in My Summer’s Breeze (Embassy Theatre), I Can’t Even Look in Your Eyes Without Shaking (Old Vic New Voices) and After the Flood (Old Vic Symposium). He is the winner of the OVNV Out of Character Monologue Competition and is a California Arts Scholar. His short film, The Price of Getting High, won Best Short at The Best Shorts Competition in 2018. He is currently working on a new play, Knuckle Down, and co-writing The Looking Glass Project for TU.
