Theatre Unleashed is back! Having just closed the latest installment of their epic speed theatre anthology, 25 Plays Per Hour at this year’s Hollywood Fringe Festival (and winning The Fringe Award for Cabaret & Variety, to boot!), the company is ready to resume another of its signature productions – the 24-hour show.
The evening before the show, a group of writers will be given a specific prompt. They are then given one night to complete a ten-minute scene inspired by that prompt. The next morning, the finished script will immediately be handed over to a director and a few actors who have only a few hours to rehearse and produce their piece. Theatre Unleashed will then showcase the end results that night, starting promptly at 8pm.
